November 1997 saw the introduction of ASP2005 developed by Erasteel to meet the ever increasing demands for improved performance for cold work tooling.
It can be seen from the following table that ASP2005 out performs all existing conventional and powder metallurgy steels with its unique combination of high hardness, high toughness and high wear resistance properties.


We are pleased to announce the introduction of ASP2012 which has been specially developed for very demanding tooling applications requiring high toughness.

ASP2012 offers an extremely high impact strength, three times higher than other "super strength" ASP grades.
